Beginner Yoga (Beginner): A slow and gentle practice focusing on physical and energetic alignment of postures and how they synchronize with the breath. This class is perfect for beginners, individuals healing from an injury, as well as intermediate and advanced practitioners who may want to take it easy.
Hatha Yoga (All levels): A foundational yoga practice focused on strength, precision, and balance. Develop resilience and finesse in your asana practice as we devote our time to the details of yoga. We work to find right alignment in the postures and integrate pranayama and deep stretching to enhance our subtle body energy and find freedom. All levels welcome.
Slow Flow (All levels): This class is meditation in motion. You will be taken through each pose slowly and mindfully with awareness of the breath, body and mind, and will be offered many options to adapt the practice to your unique self. Your breath will anchor you while you transition from one pose to the next in a slow and graceful sequence. When we take our time, our minds slow down, our nervous system relaxes, our breath deepens, and we are able to experience peace and tranquility.
Sunrise Flow (All levels): Set your alarm clock just a bit earlier for this midweek Sunrise Vinyasa Flow. Pranayama, stretching and movement will awaken your body and mind, setting the tone for a day of clarity and focus.
Vinyasa Flow (All levels): Synchronize the breath with movement, while experiencing an active practice through a series of postures that tone and strengthen the body while focusing and calming the mind.
Warm Flow (Intermediate): An energetic practice of vinyasa yoga, consisting of basic to intermediate poses, sequenced at a moderate pace. Vinyasa yoga consciously links breath with movement to create a flowing meditation. Students will learn a combination of standing poses, arm balances and seated postures, with a focus on cultivating energy and building strength. This class takes place in a moderately warm room.
Yin Yang Yoga (All levels): This wholistic class has the perfect balance of Yin Yoga, Vinyasa, Reiki, Meditation, and Essential Oils. Start your practice by opening up the body slowly with yin yoga postures that are held between 3-5 minutes and then, experience a mindful alignment based vinyasa flow to tone and strengthen the body, while synchronizing the breath with movement.
Yin Yoga & Meditation (All levels): A soothing and meditative practice that targets the connective tissue, such as the ligaments and fascia, along with the energetic systems of the body (meridians), bringing the body into balance and increasing it’s natural range of motion. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, while seated or lying down. This class is a perfect complement to more active styles of yoga and a great preparation for seated meditation practices.
