Yoga for Teens Workshop: Self Love

Description:  In this workshop, students ages 13-18 will practice self-love through yoga. Postures will be practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility and a healthy body image. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. No previous yoga experience required. We provide a safe space to begin to explore the practice of yoga.
